T-Mobile Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge Come With Locked Bootloaders

Galaxy S7

The new Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on T-Mobile come with locked bootloaders, which means that the handsets cannot be rooted.

A number of owners of the new handsets on T-Mobile are less than impressed with the bootloaders on the handsets being locked, T-Mobile has said it is talking to Samsung about the issue.

The company’s John Legere told an owner of one of the new smartphones on Twitter that the company was discussing the issue with Samsung, you can see a tweet below.

It is not clear what solution T-Mobile will come up with on this issue, hopefully they will be able to convince Samsung to unlock the bootloaders on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
